CASA -Internationale Sprachschule (International Language School) Bremen
This is a medium sized school, with a location in the city center and closer to the harbour. The school offers a personal environment and small classes. In addition, this school is the most flexible. If prior notice is given, one can join an ongoing course that has already begun. Goethe Institute Bremen
This language school, located right in the middle of Universität Bremen's Campus (20 minutes north of city center) is the most renowned and well recognized of the Bremen language schools. They offer a wide variety of courses, including a 4-week intensive course and private instruction. Courses are about 1,000 Euros for four weeks.Contact Information:

Bremen's very own high school, located not far from city center, offers Internationale Ferienkurse (International Summer School). Among other intensive summer courses, they offer German language courses. "The International Summer School offers different German language courses - basic, intermediate and advanced level - as well as intensive courses in special fields." Fremdsprachen-Zentrum (Foreign Language Center) Bremen
This language-devoted school offers both intensive German summer courses (July and August) and non-intensive German courses throughout the school year. One interesting side note: conveniently, and for a reasonable price, the FZHB offers living and meal availability for 230 Euros on top of the course price.
