WHO WE ARE

The Bremen United States Center (BUSC), with its site in the Bürgermeister-Smidt-Straße 82, 28195 Bremen, is a consortium project between the Hanseatic City of Bremen, the US Consulate General, the Bremen Chamber of Commerce and the Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH - Economic Development.

Additional network partners include the Jacobs University and the Carl Schurz German-American Club of Bremen. Furthermore, numerous network participants support the activities and goals of the BUSC.

The InWEnt gGmbH, a non-profit organisation with worldwide operations, commissioned by the German federal government and dedicated to human resource development, advanced training, and dialogue. In Bremen the InWEnt gGmbH manages the Bremen United States Center.

Bremen was one of the first states to recognize the United States of America after the declaration of independence.
