Strengthen and extend the relations between the USA and Bremen.
The State of Bremen traditionally has strong ties with the United States of America. The first trade agreement with the USA was signed in Bremen no less than 175 years ago. In the early 19th century, Bremerhaven was the most important port for Europeans emigrating to America, and after the Second World War, the ports of Bremen were again of immense importance for the USA.The Bremen United States Center aims to strengthen and further extend the bilateral relations between America and Bremen.
